Yesterday, was a simple and sweet day to celebrate. She went on a kayaking trip with Levi and Nephi on Sunday to celebrate. Aunt Woody took her shopping earlier in the week to buy all the craft supplies a heart could desire and her own Alexa.

She wanted Levi to take her to Mary Lou's to pick out donuts for all of us before he went to work. (Let it be known that Levi's workdays now are MUCH earlier than Clairana would prefer to ever wake up so this was a special request.) She wrote him a note around midnight the night before to wake her up when he got up.

Then I took her to Hobby Lobby with Bella for some leisure shopping. More art supplies.

Grandma Moni came in from Pennsylvania to celebrate with us as well! She brought fancy cakes for all.

Aunt Rene stopped by with a turtle necklace and spending money!

Grandpa Rick stopped by and of course had to be measured. Looks like Clairana passed him up!

Donuts for breakfast!
Aunt Angie and Madi stopped by with a gift for the teenager as well! She made origami for Aunt Angie.

We headed to Barnes and Nobles and the mall after dinner to spend her birthday money. She ended up spending it all on books.

Ashby family got her this sweet 13 pearl necklace.

 Hair accessories from Levi's parents.

We went to dinner at Hu Hot - it's a fresh stir fry buffet place that cooks your food in front of you. Everyone enjoyed it. They put us in the VIP room (just a room that sits off to the side of the restaurant) Clairana thought it was for her birthday but honestly it was just because they didn't have a table large enough to fit us all in the regular dining room. Win.

She is off for a day of fun with Mamaw and Papaw and then another date on Thursday with mom and Grandpa.

She was well loved, and it was wonderful. I love so very much that she is the oldest in our always growing family. She sets such a great example for everyone.
