Clairana teaches art 7 times a year at co-op and we make sure we have several moms to help assist but she does a great job and the kids enjoy it.

I brought a snake for a blindfold trick in high school science and the younger group thought it was amazing. I busted them all in the bathroom playing with it. (it was dead - the cats brought it to us right as we were leaving for co-op so it worked out perfectly)

I taught the parable of the blind men and the elephant. How when we view only a portion of something we could come up with wrong or different answers - relating it to science. They felt smashed tomatoes, head lamp, toothbrush, dead snake, felt mushroom, fruit stick, hot glue gun stick.....

Co-op Afterlife with Lotte
Clairana reading to her presentations class - the youngest group. They have presentations but because theirs don't last as long we read to them and send them outside to play on the playground - it is every other week. The high school juniors all have a class they chose to teach this year. It is a one hour slot in their co-op day.
