4th of July

We had a great and relaxing 4th! It is always nice when Levi is off for a couple days in a row or at least only goes to jobsites for a little bit. We swam in the creek, did some shooting, and kept with tradition and headed to the Gobel's house for fireworks.

It was a little wet this year but after we had dinner a huge rainbow appeared and the rain stopped just in time for the fireworks. 

 Coraline has started making chocolate milk with Nephi's raw milk - just cocoa and maple syrup. It definitely makes the milk go faster. 

 Coraline is the best for matching and dressing the little girls.

They even got me an ice-cream cake and sang to me too!

 All lined up! They have the absolute best location for the 4th - right in their backyard. No crowds. It lines right up to the park/field where they set them off.

 Playing games - Levi turned his hat around so it must have been getting serious. There may be one teenager in our house that has started to pass him up with his athletic ability.....

Don't mind the black eye - her and Nephi were trying to make eachother laugh with a game they found online and well Nephi's hand slipped. Nice timing for her photo.

 

Little Reader

 

Lotte LOVES babies and books. She reads every book out loud VERY loud with hand motions and all sorts of excitement. Really great story teller. 

Pond Co-op Party

 For my birthday, I decided to have a pond party with our co-op families. 

Some of course were not able to make it but we did have a great turnout and time! 

Thanks to the grandparents for letting us crash the pond all day. 

Then for the rest of my birthday Levi and I headed to Indy to celebrate and left the crew at home. 

 Good times. Naps for teenagers. Must have been a good day.

Visitors from Maine

Bobbie Lou and Marley stopped by with Woody. They are back in Indiana for the week. 

We love when they come to visit. It is fun for the kids to see Marley.

Fountain with Friends

We haven't been over to the Purdue fountains in years. I wanted to take the younger ones, so they could have more hometown memories. We invited one of our favorite families to come along with us! 

It was perfect.

 The teenagers came too but spent most of their time just talking. It is crazy how fast everyone is growing these days.

The kids keep adding to the list of Euchre players over at the grandparents house. 

They love going over and mamaw always spoils them with juice and treats.
