Swimming

This year we did swim lessons!

Clairana got the amazing opportunity to be a junior swim instructor. Since we were going to be dropping her off and picking her up every day for two weeks, I arranged for everyone to have lessons at drop off.

We also got to visit with the Sheets family during lessons which was nice to see a familiar face.

Uncle Jack helped Clairana get ready for her swim test - which she was so happy to pass. Thankfully, it worked out because the night before she was able to be timed in the pond.

Thanks to Papaw for picking Clairana up several days on a fancy motorcycle and treating her to ice cream to celebrate.

Nephi stayed at Level 5 but got approval for the junior lifeguard test next year.
Coraline moved up during her lessons.
Cabella wasn't able to move up because of her age but they said she placed out of her class.
Cecily will stay in her same class for next year.

Cabella

Coraline - she isn't mad just tired. We did the first lessons of the day.

Cabella and Cecily!

Clairana instructing.

Clairana with her other junior lifeguards.
They would help teach lessons in the morning and then watch videos and then reenact out emergencies in the afternoon. She learned so much and came home every night to tell us all about it.

I hope to have her, and Nephi do it next year.

Two weeks was super fun, and they all learned a lot, but we are beat!

Nephi Camp

I didn't get any pictures from Nephi's camp this summer but I did see these on the bulletin board in the hallway this week at church...
