We studied the canal this year and I planned us a trip to the Wabash and Erie Canal Park. They didn’t open up the canal until after our school year was over but it was a fun trip to see buddies again.
Grandpa Rick came to join us as it is super close to his house. It was fun to go when all the cabins were open and all the volunteers were in costume. It felt like a little Connor Prairie so close to home!
