We finished out the year!
Most of the families will be returning next year and we will have a couple new families as well!
The group all took their fingerprints and signed this sweet picture for me! Erin Huggett has been doing this same project for years and I have been part of it when she has gifted it to other directors.
She is a gem and such a person of reason.
I will miss her greatly.
Her family is moving due to the military.
This is Erin with her morning class. All the kids were assigned to bring their memory work to teach the class. The children lead this class.
Longfellow Award. Millie challenged the whole co-op to memorize and present poems during assembly. It was such a great experience and will be making it a co-op tradition. Lots of the children got several but the ones pictured got 12 and were give one of her favorite poem books.
I taught about the eye this week and it was so funny to me that some of the kids had never seen one of those tricky magic eye books. It was a hit. We also did a few other experiments with shapes and changing the colors in which we see.
They had to create small shapes and then stare at them for 30 seconds then transfer their vision to the ceiling or a blank white paper.
Erin's husband is home for a short while from the military so he came along to assist her with her Science review game.
