Clairana and Nephi decided to try something new this year for 4H. They will be showing our pasture dogs Zara and Zion. We had thought about showing dogs before, but we heard it is a full commitment. After being in the goat barn with so many others we thought maybe a change for the summer would be nice. That and Clairana's goat didn't get pregnant this year so her points would have been low.
We will be going to weekly trainings for several months. They offer 34 sessions, but you only need to attend 10 to show at Fair.
We will see how it goes! The kids have been walking the dogs around the property and starting to work on tricks with them.
Show dates are 7/14 and 7/15.
