Meat Chicks!

     We got a call from Purdue last week about over 100 meat chickens that needed to find a home. 

We ended up with 40 and gave another homeschooling family 20. 

Not the best timing, but we can't beat free birds! They will be butchered in early April. 




PS In case I haven't mentioned it Cecily lost a tooth on New Years Day. 
She just casually leaned over to me and said "tooth mama" while we were watching a movie. I may have freaked out.
The only thing we can figure is it was from her fall. We had our dentist friend looked at it and everything looks fine she may end up with a spacer there due to it being about 4 years too early to fall out.
