Brandy and I went out for appetizers and Starbucks this past week.
We ended up just driving around with our Starbucks catching up and looking at new houses being built. She has been in my life since I was in the 3rd grade. She has three boys and works as a nurse so our time together doesn't happen too much. She now works from home filling prescriptions and taking patient calls. She often has her two nephews so most times they have five boys. Her sister lost her husband a few years ago and she is also a nurse but she works at the emergency room.
Such a simple short night was so good for my soul.
