Homeschooling - Butterfly Release

Levi's stepmother, Reni, has a farm dedicated to Monarch butterflies. She was giving a class at the Lilly Nature Center and invited us to come watch her release monarchs that she had raised and tagged.

Little Red Wagon - First Birthday!!

 We have had lots of things going on this week - mostly decision making so we have found a new place for long hikes. 

This way the kids can walk or ride their bikes and we can actually have a conversation.

SOCCER - First Week

This was the first week of soccer and crazy enough we ended up playing my girlfriend Brandy's team. So the kids thought it was fun to play Jace but it may have caused some confusion on if they needed to 'share' the ball with him. 

My parents came to watch the first game and of course we had to get a treat afterwards.

First Day of COOP

On Tuesday, we had our first day of school at the Wildcat Creek Coop! 

Levi took the morning off work so we could go to the first parent meeting and make sure the kids made it to all their classes. 

Coraline has not been feeling well this week so we went to meet the nursery teacher and then her and Levi headed up for a nap. 

I will be helping in the money/nature class for 2nd graders and photography for high school level. 

We met lots of homeschoolers and I must admit it was a little overwhelming, but it is only on Tuesdays and the experience for Clairana and Nephi is well worth it. 

Dinner with old Coworkers

Jessica (black dress) and I used to be sidekicks at work so I ran away for dinner with a few girls 

I used to work with. Mama night out even though I am the only mama in this picture. 

Makes me very thankful to stay home after listening to the same old drama.

Story and Craft Time

Every Friday at 10:30 I take the kids on campus to story and craft time with Ms. Linda at the library. 

We have made several friends that meet us there!
