Sayings to keep

I wanted to keep these sayings as reminders for myself. Having a caesarean and having to slow way down for over a month now has come with loads of emotions on top of the standard post partum ones.

Thankfully, it feels like every book I pick up to read to the kids tells about people who had to lay in bed for months or even years from sickness or accidents and it knocks me off my self pity thoughts.

Pappy and Bubbe - Cecily's Birthday Outing

Primary Program

Primary Program week! Also, the first time Lotte went to church. We snuck a picture after we got home before the chaos of changing and food.

The two oldest are now too old for Primary so they stay in the pew with us and watch.
The girls wrote their own testimonies/parts about Christ.

This year as a church we have studied the New Testament.

Coraline –My favorite story from the New Testament is about Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus did not give up easily in his wish to see Jesus. As Jesus entered the city, Zacchaeus was small and wanted to see Jesus but could not because of the crowds, so he climbed a Sycamore tree and waited for Jesus to pass. From the tree, he saw Jesus, and Jesus saw him. Looking up, Jesus said, “Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for today I must abide at thy house” (Luke 19:5). Surprised at Jesus’s words and actions, the crowd “all murmured, saying, Jesus had gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner” (Luke 19:7). Because Zacchaeus was a tax-collector the people judged him, but God sees people differently and he knows us by name.

Cabella – My favorite story about Jesus is when he was resurrected. One day we will all be resurrected and our spirits and bodies will be brought back together again. This time they will be perfect. Our bodies will never get sick or die. They will be immortal and wonderful.

Cecily – My favorite story about Jesus is the lost sheep. Jesus is our shepherd and we are his sheep. He loves all of us. He wants all of us to be with him forever.

Mama Bon snagged these pictures off of the recording and sent them to us.

Co-op Moments

4 Square Outside for Gym Time.

Aunt Woody came to help with co-op and snuck away to a quiet room and held Lotte for a long time while she slept.

Sonnet officially gets to skip her afternoon nap at co-op and hang out with the big kids. You can see she is VERY excited about it.

Life Right Now.

Coraline has been nervous about riding a bike for a long time but Aunt Woody took her out for her birthday and got her one! She recently picked up riding Bella's bike and they shared over the summer.
Not anymore. They rode together for hours the other day.

Cecily's love for Charlotte is perfect.

She is starting to talk and smile at everyone.

Coraline also got a cat leash for her birthday. She is preparing to show Cinnamon for 4H this year.

This is what homeschool life looks like right now. All over the place and mostly on the ground.

One of the kids must have took this picture.
