Levi and Nephi did the kayaking race again this year on team TBird.
They raced against East End so that was fun to know everyone.
The girls and I stayed on the shore and cheered them on.
We also got to take a refugee family with us to the race and show them around.
Levi got the dad a job at TBird and they are so kind and grateful to be in the United States.
I will never forget meeting the mom and her sweet sincere smile and then she kissed me multiple times. Sometimes the same language is not needed.
Makes all of us remember how blessed we are to be here.
TBird won.
