Around the House

Zion got a bath inside - it will for sure be his last one inside he is getting very big.
Plus he seemed so hot being in the house while the stove was on.
I was nervous he would get sick if I sent him out wet.

We made dog food this year - we mixed the extra pieces of deer meat that we normally throw out with oats and carrots. Hoping to cut down on the dog food expense.

Splitting Wood. When Levi and I finished she hauled a piece of bark out from the woods and was so proud of herself that we had to let her cut it.

Saturday morning we woke up early and started in on pressure cooking raw deer stew. We have been using our pressure cooker to make faster meals for the pantry. It is always a learning curve in the homesteading world but we get better each year.

Note - Coraline LOVES mixing meat with her hands and filling all the jars - it must be a sensory thing.

Some of the finished product for the pantry. Vegetables with Meat

Pajama Time - Bella is our hottest child she ALWAYS takes her clothes off at night time no matter how cool it is.
Clairana and I did spices. Note to self buy pepper that is already ground up!
