Roller Skating Rink!

Levi and I went around the rink between all the little girls several times hunched over. 

The Bell family gave us a gift card for the roller skating rink and we decided to invite some friends along with us!

It was SO FUN. They have a homeschooling time on Fridays from 2-4 so it worked out perfectly. We will be back. Such a great workout. 

Crash! The kids loved chasing Levi and Bella around and finally caught him. 

Too much fun for Cecily she fell asleep.

Skate Park & Pigs

I have been taking Clairana to clarinet lessons at Faith and while we wait we get to enjoy the skate park. Nephi's friend Adam has lessons before Clairana so we picked him up to hang out with us for the morning. 

Book I am currently reading. 

Then we went home and they tried to ride pigs. 

 

FHE - Graveyard

Monday night for Family Home Evening Coraline requested to go see Oma. My grandparents and Aunt Charlotte are all buried together on the south side of town. We got french fries and ice cream and went in our pajamas. There was a man there that we talked to and he had just lost his wife to leukemia and was 60. He enjoyed our company and said he comes three times a day in between work and stays past dark and lights candles. 

 

Church Life

We get to attend church for Sacrament but then come home for classes on Zoom. 

 

France Park

I wanted to try out France Park a week or so ago and asked Kelli if she was up for the adventure. It was after a long week of adventures so I was nervous how we would do.

We had a great time and stayed for a picnic lunch and by the end the kids were wet and tired so it ended perfectly. 

I am planning to take the crew back soon!

We were out doing farm chores and Levi started looking...so I started looking and Cabella casually walks by and ask what we are doing...then she says “Oh look dad I found one you almost stepped on!” 

Then the kids continued to find a bowl full.

Adventuring Club...Maybe

Anne had this great idea to get the kids together for nature hikes/adventures after we ended our CC year - we were then pondering over it and I think we may end up seeing if a few other mamas want to join us and get together each week to get outside together at least for the summer and then settle down to once a month once school starts up again. 

This was our first week and it ended up being cold but we still got out - we ventured around our house. Thanks to Anne for the pictures.
