Last night was my favorite. We had mama book club and I got to host which was so nice. We read this gem. It is a combination of Charlotte Mason for modern day in a great layout.
Charlotte Maria Shaw Mason was an English educator and reformer in England at the turn of the twentieth century. She proposed to base the education of children upon a wide and liberal curriculum.
Charlotte Mason Philosophy -
The Charlotte Mason method is based on Charlotte's firm belief that the child is a person and we must educate that whole person, not just his mind. So a Charlotte Mason education is three-pronged: in her words, “Education is an Atmosphere, a Discipline, a Life.”
