Around the House

Our last week around the house - thankfully we have had some BEAUTIFUL days.
We are slowing working on projects and still homeschooling as normal.
Levi is working from home most days, although he has to lead meetings so that takes him to work some times.  His less exposure makes my anxiety less.

We have been letting the girls roam around the yard lately. Cecily loves them.
She also likes to wear one boot most days.

Coraline asked to color this page with me the other day.

The girls and I took a 4 wheeler ride to see the pond last week. Clairana rode behind us and I took the little girls.

Best Big Brother.

Ummm.... Bella? This is their soon to be new room and Bella decided to put up a ramp for herself.

Art Lessons.
We always do a 'girlie' lesson followed by a boy lesson per Nephi's rules.

Mermaid being eaten by a shark.... I think.

Clairana and I ordered extra flowers from the grocery delivery and went and dropped them off to two houses last week.

Morning Chores with Cecily.

Right now there is a million extra options for engaging children and I find it completely overwhelming. I decided that I was not going to add anything new to our homeschooling days even though it is very tempting.

PS. The rest of the world you are NOT actually homeschooling - we are all quarantining/homeschooling.

I hope this time at home for parents with their children does not scare them away from homeschooling or that we don't get 'new' judgments because we miss leaving out house too!
We miss our friends, museums, parks, libraries, art lessons, coop time, book club ... and so much more as well.
I would gauge to say that we are more upside down because we are used to having complete freedom to go and do whenever because we are not regulated by school hours.

Anyways, here is a picture of the kids listening to a Lafayette born author read a new picture book about goblins.
It is a sweet and short book which I am sure we will add to our collection. Ben Hatke.

Social Distancing Thank You notes for the grocery people!
Disinfecting groceries for seven is a task!

Took the new baby chicks outside!

Coraline is into doing her own hair and wants me to take pictures of her fashion statements.

Yes. This person dumped out all her summer clothes to find the perfect bathing suit. It was warm enough for sprinkler time!

We always take our picture in the sun. I am really enjoying getting the break from single parenting around here.
It helps that he is Cecily's favorite person and every morning when she sees him she runs to him.

Sprinkler on the trampoline kind of afternoon.

Yesterday, everyone made a picture and we put together this poster to show Mamaw and Papaw from a safe distance.
We lined up all the four wheelers and the gator and made a parade outside their patio to show them our sign.
