Cecily Edithe is ONE!

Our tiniest one turned ONE!

Cecily Edithe Evans
She is coming into her own personality now which is so fun.
Still Nursing
Attempting to Sleep Train
She crawls like a crab
Not walking yet but pushing the walker
Hasn't fully transitioned to food yet - she has a strong gag reflex.
Loves drinking from a straw.
The kids are all still overly smitten by her.
Moved her crib out of our room, she sleeps in Cabella and Coraline's room
(massive girl room coming soon)
She says DaDa
She is a mama's girl.
Nicknames: Cess (mostly from Cora) Edithe and Hazel (from Levi) Tiny One
Bella calls her Cecily Edithe Evans all the time.

Her eyes are hazel and we will see if they change to brown.....

Nephi is the most protective of her.
Coraline is the most fun or crazy with her.

We will head to Chicago this weekend to celebrate.

Clairana wanted to make her a cake and then everyone wanted to add the icing.

Clairana made her a sign.

Grandpa Rick stopped by with a BIG present!

Bookclub - Peter Pan

We hosted today for book club, Peter Pan!

It was SO much fun to come up with crafts for this one. I ended with a pretty good burn on my hand but it was worth it.

I love this time every month.

We work hard to read and make it a priority in the house (which the switch from picture book reading to chapter book reading is a whole 'nother level!) and it is fun to always discuss it with others as a celebration with of course crafts and snacks!

Felt Peter Hats for the Boys
Tinkerbell Fairy Dust Necklaces for the Girls

This was us the night before trying out making the hats on Cecily.

Tinkerbell in the cage.

Clairana did decorations on the window - Hooks and Telescopes

Snack Time.

We were missing the Goodsell family so we made extras for when they feel better.

GLITTER!

My girlfriend took these - it is always hard to do photos when you are hosting. I appreciate them!

Showing how to do the hat.

Hot Glue Gun Spot!

Ms. Denae helping the girls do necklaces.

Such a great picture. Emma, Cabella, and Coraline
Although Emma is older I get to have her in my class with Coraline and each week Coraline always asked if I can put her nametag next to Emma's. Emma has been in CC for several years so I always look to her when the rest have the 'deer in headlight' look.

Ms. Coraline

Talking about the book and all our favorite parts. Also, how naughty Tinkerbell is in the actual book!

Primary Program

The kids had their once a year Primary Program at church which was perfect as always.

We always practice the songs and their lines so many times beforehand to make sure they feel completely comfortable. This year, Coraline memorized her lines and was confident enough to stand up at the pulpit and speak.

Nephi had a couple singing parts this year - one with his age level class and once with Clairana.

Here is the song. It is beautiful.

We don't take pictures or videos in the chapel as a way to keep the spirit and reverence.
This year they were combined with the Spanish branch so the children got to sing in Spanish as well.

Lots of Little People - Ages 3-11

Outtakes from after church pictures!

Ring. Bummer.

I have worn this ring for 15 years now, crazy how fast time goes.
Yesterday, while Levi and I were cutting wood after church I took my gloves off to hold Cecily and scratched myself.
I looked down and noticed I had lost my diamond.
We looked but who knows where in the yard under leaves and pine needles it would be.....
So Sad.

Levi used to tell me all the time not to do some activity (chopping wood, tending animals, painting...) with my ring on, but I guess after not listening for so many years he stopped.

I love this ring. I love that it is pear shape and it was never the trendy or popular diamond shape.
It is insured so we will see how that turns out after all the phone calls and paperwork.

Dale Party

The Dale Family had a huge hog roast party this past weekend and we got to enjoy all their new baby piglets!

Levi's dad and step mother, Reni, came a little later on in the evening and took this picture of the fastest piglet chaser.

Snowbird Dinner

Monday night, we had an early Thanksgiving dinner for Jack and Jane before they head off to Florida for the winter.

We did this last year and felt it was a great little tradition to keep up. We invited Jack and Rene (Levi's aunt and uncle) and my parents to come over as well.

We took the day off of homeschooling and called it cooking class all day. The kids helped make just about everything.

Although, I did not take one picture of anyone....  I did capture a little bit of the food.
