Cabella Lou - Blessing Day!

Today, we blessed this precious gift - Cabella Lou is a perfect baby.
She is SO happy now that her brace is off and she seems to be our easiest little one so far.
She is rolling all over and has started to try and sit up which is right on schedule.
She loves her hands and feet and loves to chew and drool.
Levi's blessing included being a missionary to her family and friends and bringing them closer to the gospel - we shall see!

In the LDS church, children are baptized at 8 or older when they can account for their own sins. When a child is born and welcomed into a family a priesthood holder (most often the dad or grandfather) goes in front of the church and seals a blessing (prayer) on her head and gives her a name. At the end of the prayer Levi always holds our babies up so proud to show them off to our church family.
