Last Saturday, Levi and I were working in the yard and then I heard it the yelling of
"Danielle Danielle" I instantly knew something was wrong ...
mostly I am known around here as Mama, Babe, Dee
Levi was carrying a large log that we were making our shed with instead of buying poles to save money. He tripped and dropped the log and it bounced back up and gave him 15 stitches and broke out two teeth.
Emergency Room and Oral Surgeons for the next few days.....
Then yesterday after Levi was starting to feel better and move around the house I got the call....
My grandmother aka Oma had passed away in the early morning. We have not told the kids yet just thinking of telling them breaks my heart. Clairana and Nephi are both very close to her.
Levi said he wants to make it a family home evening lesson (on Mondays LDS families have Family Home Evening which is a time to read scriptures or do an activity as a family to grow together.)
We also got lots of poison oak this past week - no pictures but trust me it was not pretty...all over Clairana & Nephi

Praying next week will be better for the Evans' House.
Worst week ever! So sad I am not there to give you a hug. What are the good dentists of Indiana going to do about those missing teeth? Levi needs to a least come up with a really good story in the meantime...saving a baby about to be killed by a falling tree, saving a little old woman from bag snatchers (you should see the other guy!), rescuing hostages from a villain wielding a bat, etc. Hope ya'll are feeling better. Miss you guys!

ReplyDeleteMiss your adorable family too! He got a retainer with fake teeth just for show - has to take them out to eat. No new teeth for at least four mths for his jaw to heal. Love your story ideas! I will pass them along
