Makin' Maple Syrup

 This past weekend we got to head out early to West Point and get started on making Maple Syrup at Maple Hill. Uncle El aka Farmer was showing us the ropes! Thanks to his sidekick Maggie we even ended up with pictures! Can't wait to try the final product they say its amazing.

We did about 100 gallons and took the whole day so we were not able to stay till the end.

SPRING is ALMOST HERE!! We went to the farm store and got baby chicks!

Just smiles is SO hard to accomplish these days......

THATS EIGHT....Went in thinking about FOUR maybe an extra if we lose one....Now onto building a coop!

Great Wolf Lodge = Magical

We headed out for our vacation and I have to say the kids did great on the 3 hour roadtrip but I do think that was long enough for us. We had a great time!

The food was amazing!

It was great to be on a vacation where everyone has wet hair/no makeup/sweats/

just fun.

Mini Vacation!

We are heading out for a long weekend to Mason, Ohio to the Great Wolf Lodge!

Its a resort that has tons of pools and water slides and restaurants all inside and at 85 degrees!

So besides the Evans' family pasty white skin in bathing suits

and no actual sunshine it will be like

Florida - sorta......
