Girl’s Camp!

Girls Camp!
We went to stay at a cabin in Bloomington on Lake Monroe.
We had a great time, and I was so thankful everything worked out after all the planning.
We had ten girls go - summer is so crazy that I have to just pick a time and go with it and a few sweet ones missed out. Coraline got to tag along even though she won't be old enough till January. Perks I guess of your mom being the president. Thanks for Aunt Woody and Aunt Rene for keeping the rest of the crew while Levi worked.

Nice picture that my lovely advisor took.... Slip n Slide time.

Clairana. We had a cabin that had a loft upstairs which all the girls slept together. It was magic. I only ventured up there for nightly prayers and to collect phones. It was like a teenager getaway.
 Coraline, Miriam, and Brighten

The girls are blessed to have Sister Clayton who is an art teacher come with us and lead the painting activity.
PS - Clairana brought a henna kit so all 'tattoos' were from my dearest artist.

 Coraline during skit night.

Kayaking

Dinner together.

Leaders! They were all so much help to me.

Skit Night. Brighten nicely dressed up and acted as me. It was super embarrassing and hilarious. Clairana is pretending to be Sarah and Sarah is pretending to be Clairana.

Jody and I - lifeguarding for three hours standing up by the lake.
 Clairana and Ella

Coraline in the front with Clairana behind her.

We arranged for a service project at the house up the road. Mrs. Tate, who is a recent widow, was not feeling well when we arrived and by the end of the day we saw the fire department at her house.

She was super sweet, and I had reached out to her months before to see if we could stop by after getting her number from our rental owner.

 Leaving for camp.

Levi treated all the girls to lunch before camp - they did great and we only got a few stares as we danced to the music while waiting on our food.
Service - filling food pantry orders at the bishop storehouse. It was such a great experience for all of us. People could come and shop for free and we could help them find what they needed.

Instead of ordering camp shirts, we tie dyed shirts the first night. It was so much cheaper and worked out great.

Bishop Storehouse - explaining all the emergency products and food that is given out to the community.

 Coraline and Mayley

 Karaoke Night.

 Jet Skis!

One of the YW put this little collage together.

 From porch snacks.

Each night they got a pillow treat and this night was sunglasses.

Facials! I got ones with animal faces, and we laughed for so long.

So many more fun photos but this will have to do.
