We were talking about going to Florida in February late last year but we decided to just save instead but now we are really ready for Spring!

Life in this house - Off to Church

Grandma & Grandpa Wallace

This is my mother's parents Stan and Gertrude Wallace. Grandpa passed away in 2009 and since then I have grown close to my grandmother. Even when living in Washington. I would call her often and she came to visit us. Clairana and Nephi have always gotten excited when they knew we were going to Oma's house no matter if we just sat in her little living room talking. 

Oma is not doing very well right now and I was very hesitate to take Clairana & Nephi to visit her....mostly for my selfish reason of not wanting to talk about it. I have experienced several deaths on my side of the family and I can honestly say this one will probably hurt the most. Which is strange because I know her spouse and two of her four children are waiting on the other side of the veil to see her again. 

Until last week when Kelly (Levi's dad) came over to play with the toddlers while I did a few chores and told me a story about when Levi was little and visiting his Grandpa Davis as a toddler. 

He said to me - You don't take Clairana & Nephi to visit Oma for you or for them but its for her. Children bring such great warmth and joy and it will provide her happiness. 

So....I took them and it did. 

Being LDS (Latter Day Saints/Mormon) we know that Families can be together Forever and that this is Heavenly Father's Plan and I know one day I will get to meet all of my relatives again......

5 Mths Old!

When people say it goes fast....it does! I feel like it goes even faster with each one. 

Our little lady is five months old!

She is rolling over and is still being swaddled at night which she loves. Loves to drool and stick her tongue out. We have only tried a few bites of banana the other night. 

Loves to nurse and does not take the pacifier. 

She is probably our first child that has been in pajamas for three months except for Sundays - its too cold to dress up!

Bunnies Everywhere

We will be selling our bunnies this round mostly because they will be ready for Easter. 

We were excited that our local Co-op is selling rabbit for $19.99/ lb. I may have to start doing research and working my marketing skills!

Happy Valentine's Day - Goats

After a rough Friday - I had a nose bleed that lasted two hours and ended in the hospital with 19 inches of lovelyiness stuffed in my nose. Thanks to Pappy (Levi's dad) for being a trooper and handling all our little ones! 

Anyways...on Valentine's day we took the kids to Brown County to pick up Rue & Calcium that Levi had surprised us with for Christmas. We are in love. They are Nigerian Dwarf Goats which I will milk next year. They get about 30 - 40 lbs and 18 inches tall.

Chloe our cat has lived in the basement for about six months now - she is strange....she loves to hide and is not social at all. This past week she snuck through the basement door and came and sat right next to us.
