Herbal Cough Syrup

One thing I learned from Levi's mom - Terri - is how to look for alternative ways to make the daily things we buy at the store that are full of chemicals and expensive.

Nephi is not able to have cough syrup because of his age so I found and made a syrup full of herbs, honey, and lemon juice that did the trick!

Happy Hollow Park

Since we lost Duncan we have been spending a lot more time spoiling Dharma.

She has become a different dog. Every and I mean Every time the kids fuss she instantly becomes concerned and howls until they are happy again.

So as you can imagine our house gets LOUD really fast.

We took her to Happy Hollow Park to enjoy some time outside.

I feel like I don't take as many pictures of Clairana as I do Nephi -

mostly because she is too busy to stop and please me.

PS the kids do have life jackets and the water was only around 4 feet deep on the road.

Thankfully, we did not see any water near our house just left us for a long weekend at home.

SURPRISE PARTY

Mr. Levi Evans is now the Projects General Manager of Purdue University!

So, I decided to celebrate and throw him a surprise party. It was a huge success.

Holy Cow things have been a little crazy around here....

• We are now in the New House and unpacking and renovating like fools 
• Our little Duncan passed away (ukkk - nope still can't write about it - probably better that way. How about he went to the 'farm')
• I am now the Cash Manager at Purdue
• Levi is now the GENERAL Projects Manager at Purdue YEAH!!! By far the youngest PGM Purdue has ever had. Although they call him 'green' to be politically correct.
• Nephi had surgery on his ears

Duncan

I am not ready to write about this but....

Duncan our male basset hound was hit by a car and laid to rest this week.

The Move - COMPLETED

We are exhausted but in the house!

Pictures to come but right now we are lucky to find our clothes for the day and make dinner.

We also lost our male basset hound Duncan yesterday morning.

Emotionally drained.
