Penguins with Grandparents

We met the grandparents for a trip to the Columbian park zoo to see the new penguins. 

We had originally planned to meet for an event but the address was listed incorrectly so we never found it. 

So... we hung out at the zoo. 

The weather was perfect for our visit.

When the kids go to bed.......

We moved our shed - it was in the backyard and we moved it to the driveway that way the kids could have their bicycles closer to ride and it would be able to have electricity. 

This little kitten took no time hanging out inside with us during read aloud to discover she could jump and attempt to eat the fish. 

She went back outside.

Mom’s birthday

The kids and I loaded up to go visit my mom for her birthday! 

Levi was out helping his dad bail hay.  

 

Papaw

This is from a little while back but Papaw came over and got our wheat grinder hooked up to a motor!

It is amazing and we figured out how to make perfect flour now.

I am so thankful! 

Now to continue on the sourdough bread challenge. 

 

Soccer!!

 Soccer started today and we have four kids on four different teams. Levi is coaching the older two and thankfully we hand picked our other coaches for the little girls. I am team manager of a couple teams but I am not coaching - too many people in to many places. 

It was exhausting and fun! 

Evans' Family Reunion

Woody and Greg had an Evans' Family Reunion. The weather was beautiful and we all got to see people we haven't seen since we first were married. 

They had a reunion about ten years ago but we were in Washington with a newborn so we didn't make it. 

Coraline, Cabella, Parker (Levi's 2nd cousin's son - they are from Bob's side of the family which is Papaw Jack's brother) and Marley - Woody's granddaughter (Woody is Jack's sister)

4 Year Boy Generation. 

Jack, Kelly, Levi, and Nephi - all had one boy. 

Bob's other granddaughter with the kids playing - I honestly don't remember her name. 

Greg's mom, Connie, with Nephi - they were buddies all afternoon. 

She is so wonderful and sweet. 

 

C & N Doctor Appt

 Last week, I took Clairana and Nephi to their yearly (really three year) check up. We have been blessed to not have a need to go with the exception of a dermatologist for Nephi but we had to go to stay on their books as a patient. 

So, I loaded everyone up and ended up they are growing perfectly fine. 

The staff tried to talk 'in code' about parts of growing up and it made me laugh because the nurse ended with saying I guess they already know everything and now I feel awkward.

** Doctor nicely told Clairana she will pass me up in height by a few inches which she was thrilled about.
