12 mth Appt - A Little Late

Guess WHAT!!! We are now over 20 lbs so we got to turn the car seat around last night! YIPPEE! It is SO much easier to drive and hand her things now that you don't have to pull a back muscle and look ridiculous at the stoplight.

Here are the results from the 12 month check-up:

Weight 20lbs 10 oz 25%

Height 31 1/4 90%

Head 47 cm 80%

Addition things: She now is moving on from formula to whole milk - hoping it will add a few pounds to her little body. Started taking fluoride drops for her teeth - don't want to take after Uncle Nicky! She is right on schedule with walking, crawling, talking, pointing, hugging, etc. Next task is to switch from the bottle to sippy cup at least starting with naps. Oh and we are done with her first round of vaccines - three more when she is two then nothing till Kindergarten!!! Hallelujah.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to my MAMA & now Grandma!!

On our walk around the neighborhood we saw the Schwan's truck - Levi said we should go up and ask for a free sample. I told him they do not have free samples and to not ask. We waved hi and walked past.

After the guy was finished with his delivery, he drove up and offered us a free sample - seriously?! So I then had to hear about how 'right' Mr. Evans was on the way home. Here is Clairana with her Popsicle, she ate the whole thing herself. She currently has two teeth on bottom and four coming in on top all at the same time. :)

Now it is BATH TIME!

By the Water

The weather here has been great, in the 70s so we decided to load everyone up and go to Fairhaven for a walk by the water. We were dressed a little warm for the weather but it was nice to actually be hot for a change.

Duncan thought it was too hot so he was hiding under the bench but Dharma & Clair have really become best buds.

Our little POOL

A girlfriend from work sold us this pool for dirt cheap, at first we thought it was small enough for just Clair or maybe one of us and Clair...but as you can see it is actually pretty big! We decided to make it a playpen until the sun came out later int he afternoon.
Here in Washington it has been in the 70s for a few weeks now.

Walk on the Beach

The sun was shining and it was almost 80 degrees out so we thought it would be perfect for a walk on the beach. Terri and I loaded up the little one and headed out to lunch and to view all the beautiful yachts! We even found one for sale! This crazy lady has now figured out how to stand up and turn around in the B.O.B - so now we are using the belt, which she just loves.
