Levi's Stepmother (Bubbe) has a farm close to us in Indiana called Winterhaven Wildflowers.
She is a citizen scientist for monarch butterflies. She came over and did a personal lesson about monarchs for us and let us keep one which was already in a chrysalis.
The kids greatly enjoyed watching and waiting for it to become a butterfly!
It was a girl and now everyone they see around the house they believe to be her.
