Levi got a new fancy phone for work and we stayed up WAY too late unpacking.

Monarch Foster Parents!

Levi's Stepmother (Bubbe) has a farm close to us in Indiana called Winterhaven Wildflowers. 

She is a citizen scientist for monarch butterflies. She came over and did a personal lesson about monarchs for us and let us keep one which was already in a chrysalis. 

The kids greatly enjoyed watching and waiting for it to become a butterfly! 

It was a girl and now everyone they see around the house they believe to be her.

PS as I was writing this...Levi is working late, Clair and Nephi are coloring, Bella is playing with her babydolls.....AND Coraline has CUT her HAIR - ALOT on one side.

Nephi came out of the bathroom SO proud of himself today. He did his OWN mo-hawk. 

And Clair was SO proud because she dressed her and Cora as TWINS. 

It is actually really nice to have a break and they start to do a few things for themselves. We switched their closets to be more kid level and it has helped SO much!

Kelsey's Graduation Party

Ms. Kelsey Johnson (Levi's baby cousin) graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Engineering. Lots of celebrating before she headed off to Colorado this past weekend.

We had the amazing benefit of the party being at the Evans' farm and only having to travel across the field. We did split up our evening by going home and taking a little break from the festivities which helped us stay WAY to LATE. 

Church was ROUGH on Sunday but WELL WORTH IT. We had an amazing time. 

Great Food, Treats, Lots of People including Levi's Aunts from California, Fireworks, Swimming, Gator Rides...Perfect Party.

Plus all great bonding takes place after the guests have left and you end up around a fire with music and sleeping babies on your laps.

Now, if you know Levi and I we ALWAYS have car troubles it seems like we ALWAYS buy lemons. Or maybe that Levi is really good at building things or repairing things but he will openly admit he is not a mechanic. (I guess you can't be amazing in everything....)

We were very excited this past month when Levi went to work one day and ended up at the dealership with the President of the company who bought him a truck. 

We took a large pay cut to come back home and have Levi's job be closer and less stressful which has been SO SO nice....and then this happened.
