We are getting ready for the new addition to our family! We decided to start the process of planting Nephi's tree before the ground froze. He will have a Hazelnut tree.
This has been a tradition in Levi's family that when a child is born a tree in planted with the placenta that help nourish the baby while in the womb. We have passed this tradition onto our family, Clairana has an apple tree.
I heard about that when I was reading all the natural birthing books when pregnant with MaryGrace. We didn't do it but it sounds cool!
