Our first kayak trip as a family! Minus the basset hounds, we figured it would be enough with Clair and her life jacket. She did really good - trying to splash her arms and legs in the water. We went up to Silver Lake which is only a few minutes from our house just in case she decided it was not her cup of tea.
Don't worry the life jacket was not smothering her as it appears to be in this picture.
