My Booklist

Here are the books that just left my nightstand.
It was such a good mix.

I actually learned so much from the Jane Austen book and the traditions during that era.

The Wardrobe book filled me up. I am teaching an IEW (writing class) next year - Nephi’s age and I chose to do the Narnia layout so this just made me even more excited for next year.

Clairana will be moving on to another writing program called Lost Tools (more of a analytic like writing program) and she will also be reading Narnia to go along with her lessons.

Catch up Photos

Some of the girls put on a show for us during lunch.

Art with Ms. Kelli - String Art.

I took this and sent it to Ashli on Sunday - Two years ago, I wondered how I would get five people ready and loaded up for church on Sundays but now it has become such a regular habit. Levi is off and at church meetings before the sun comes up so we see him when everyone else does on the stand before service starts.

Monopoly Nights

Nephi has been asking for the Monopoly game for awhile now - Aunt Woody found us the original one and it has been a hit in the evenings.

Crayfish - Science

Crayfish for Science! We talked all about their bodies and then dug in to see what was inside.
Even Cecily got to be included. We were missing one family this week due to a broken arm and our nursery leader was out sick so all the littles got to enjoy too.

Ms. Carly did story time for the kids this week after presentations.

One of the mamas took this video. So Fun.

4h Starts!!

Here are the new officers for 4h!
Nephi volunteered to run for Health and Safety - he will give a health and safety speech each month at the meetings. He is dueling the role with Adam Brucken who is such a great friend and their family got to switch to be in our group this year - they live in another county.
I am taking on the role of being the treasurer for the next two years and helping to guide the high school treasurer.

We are all already excited for the summer. We will have four 4hers this year so our July will be completely crazy.

Ice Skating Adventure

Adventure Group!
I had originally planned for us to ice skate together in December but the water pump broke so we ended up going last week. I believe last I counted we had about 50 people - homeschooled kids.

It was so much fun.
Our regular adventure group is smaller but we added in more to rent out the rink for two hours. I loved every minute of it. Nephi and Levi were complete naturals on the ice and ended up having wrestling matches with the other kids. Clairana (who sprained her ankle and has been on crutches for two weeks) got out on the ice and did great - she will go back with the youth at church at the end of the month so she was happy just taking it easy.
Coraline and Bella both socialized the whole time and Bella got out in the middle but Coraline mostly hung onto the side and slowly went around with friends.

SO FUN.
The kids said I kept saying it all day but we did have a great time.
I loved doing new things and going to new places with them. Plus a huge added bonus that Levi got to sneak away and go with us!
Thanks to Anne for the amazing idea and after many phone calls we pulled it off!

**No phones were allowed on the ice so these are all pictures that others shared with us!
Levi and I were on the ice the whole time - it felt like complete freedom/date to not have Cecily.

Clairana

Some of us about to leave. We packed the place inside. Lots of children.

Family Photo! Minus our baby bear.

It was freezing but so many still endured and made it.
Coraline

Bella and being her normal self and trying to undress while I skated behind her trying to put her clothes back on.

Nephi

Levi with Coraline

Pictures from Cecily's playdate. Anne offered to have her mother in law (who used to run the nursery at CC - so our family love her) to watch her youngest with Cecily. It was perfect and I am so thankful.

Clairana with Audrey and Claire.

Of course the Lyla and Bella picture! So Cute!

Me being a dork.

Coraline was in social heaven - Lydia and Liam

Levi with lots of littles.

 Nephi getting fancy.

Looks like we may skate the same. Clairana and I trying to figure it out.

Littlest Loves!

Ian, Bella and Lyla - possibly attempting to hijack the vending machine.

Co-op Magic.

Nephi and Elise  Science Class!   Review with Mrs. Reece  Earth Science.   Latin! Brighten jumped in and sub for Mrs. Weaver and did an ama...
