Field Trip - Fire Station

We had our first co-op field trip! Not everyone came but a large portion of us were able to make it!

 Nephi did the Spartan race and got third place! He actually got his ticket as a Christmas gift last year, so he had plenty of time to practice.

 He got his friend Jeremy a ticket for his birthday.

 We have been reading this book after dinner and then letting it take us on an adventure. So far, we have learned about apple blossoms, golden-rod, and the horse chestnut. I got this book at conference after listening to a talk on how important it is for your child to love the place they live and getting back to having roots. Making deeper connections with their family home. 

Girls Camp Out

Clairana decided to have a couple girls over and have a camp out. They had a great time and stayed up super late running the woods on the Gator. Levi slept outside so in case they needed anything we could hear them - we did hear them. All. Night. Long. I ended up shutting my windows at the wee hours of the morning.
