YW Activity

Some of the young women finished up our service project this week. We made bags for walkers and wheelchairs for a local nursing home. We did this project for two weeks and they turned out amazing. 

 

Science

So many science classes this year at co-op! We have Biology, Earth Science, and Science in the Ancient World. 

I even reached out to Dr. Wile who writes our science books, and he is coming to visit us this week and show us his favorite experiments. We love his books - they show science from a timeline/story perspective with a Christian view.

Driving with the kids through town I got a message that made me stop all things. 

My sweet sister-in-law sent me a message saying her dad had passed away unexpectedly. 

I immediately called my brother to make sure he was with her. Thankfully, they were together and the kids were at school or with a neighbor. So sad and so unexpected.

Lotte is TWO!

 The baby is TWO!

Everyone was very excited to wake up and get going on her birthday.

 She is close to sleeping through the night, but still likes to get up once a night to nurse. 

She loves to ride on the side by side. 

Points out all the tractors. 

She likes to yell "Eat!" when it is dinner time. 

Loves meat, kiwi, yogurt bites, and Cheez-Its (thanks Neph and Dad) 

If we can't find her she is usually sitting in her rocking chair reading books.

Sadly, she can also scream Shut Up to her siblings - we are working on fixing that one.

Field Trip - Fire Station

We had our first co-op field trip! Not everyone came but a large portion of us were able to make it!
