Bookclub - Banner in the Sky

The book was SO good. Such great discussions about character and faith. I did cry while attempting to read the last couple of chapters. 

Nephi chose right away to go to Happy Hollow park so the kids could all climb up the large hill. In the book he has a red shirt that belonged to his dad so I got all the kids red bandanas to take on their hike. 

 Ensley was having a field trip at the same time so we took a selfie for her mama. 

 She is getting so big.

 Snack time! Lots of bread and chocolate mentioned in the book. 

 

Home Sweet Home

 I don’t know who took this but I am guessing we are attempting to figure out math in the morning.

Paperwork Projects

We put together a resume for Clairana and she applied to the vets office down the road. 

I sat on hold for a business call that took over an hour, so I showed Clairana how to make a flyer while I waited. Turned out so fun!

River Rats

We spent Saturday working around the yard and then heading down to the creek for hotdogs around the fire. It was nice to escape and have family time for a bit. We love where we live and the summer is always so magical.

Life

First one of the year found by me! I do love this fun hobby each year.

 Clairana sang at church with a few girls.

Service at Sunrise

We finished up our year at co-op and provided service to the church. They are getting new flooring in their kitchen and library so we helped move all the things. 

Levi did all the hard things....

 Pappy helped too. 

Braces!

Let a new journey of braces for our house begin! Clairana got top braces and will hopefully get the bottom ones on in the upcoming month - she has to have surgery first.
