Clairana is 15!

Can you even believe it? The oldest is 15! 

She was taken on a surprise trip with a girlfriend. 

She drove to Aunt Rene and Uncle Jack's house with Levi.

She got her bands changed on her braces (sorry... only open day)

Caving

Levi took Clairana and Nephi on a crazy adventure! They went to Kentucky and did extreme caving. Nephi was the youngest one they had ever taken on the trip. These are some of the pictures they took. 

It was so great for the kids to have one on one time with Levi and him to have a long weekend in the middle of summer! Some of the caves included swimming in really tight spaces. Levi said he was even nervous and was very proud of N & C. 

It was planned last minute as Levi didn't know if he really would be able to go and it worked out amazingly. They found a festival with lots of experts.

Bookclub - Banner in the Sky

The book was SO good. Such great discussions about character and faith. I did cry while attempting to read the last couple of chapters. 

Nephi chose right away to go to Happy Hollow park so the kids could all climb up the large hill. In the book he has a red shirt that belonged to his dad so I got all the kids red bandanas to take on their hike. 

 Ensley was having a field trip at the same time so we took a selfie for her mama. 

 She is getting so big.

Paperwork Projects

We put together a resume for Clairana and she applied to the vets office down the road. 

I sat on hold for a business call that took over an hour, so I showed Clairana how to make a flyer while I waited. Turned out so fun!

River Rats

We spent Saturday working around the yard and then heading down to the creek for hotdogs around the fire. It was nice to escape and have family time for a bit. We love where we live and the summer is always so magical.
