Horse Lessons

We only have a few more weeks of lessons before the summer hits! 

They are both doing great. Clairana can now ride in the arena all alone which is scary but so neat. 

It was SO windy here during our lesson so we were covered with dirt afterwards. 

Now that it is getting hotter outside our lessons are at 9:00 on Friday mornings - gives the kids and I something to do while Levi is working.

Magical Things - Dates!

This magical thing has started to grow in our church - we are encouraged to make our marriage come first and attempt to go on a date once a week.

At first, I thought this was something that was a nice thought but would never happen until it did.

We have a new family that moved to Lake Havasu from South Dakota and they had been in charge of a babysitting coop before and asked what a few families thought about a test run.

We will watch 10 kids one Saturday night from 6-9 either at our house or at the church and will in return have five other Saturdays FREE. 

This was Clairana last Saturday at her 'date night' - the kids had a blast and were asleep before we even got home. (I was nervous when my phone showed a missed message before we even made it through dinner! Just a cute picture!) It also helps that Coraline has started nursery at church and knows most of the kids..and well Levi and I enjoyed dinner ALONE and did a little shopping. 

We are VERY excited to have this time to go out and enjoy each other - knowing our kids are in great hands. 

I am VERY thankful for our church family it definitely makes living away from everyone much much easier.

We have been attempting to try out several activities to see what the kids are really interested in doing. 

The more we get to know the more we are starting to feel more at home here in Arizona. 

Horseback Riding Lessons! 

Clairana and Nephi both were VERY excited (although Nephi doesn't get the full lesson until he is five.) It seems that every place takes the summer off around here due to the heat so we will try out the lessons for the month of April and maybe start back up in October if the kids are still interested. 

It was nice for all of us to actually be around animals and see a farm again!

We always go on hikes without Dad so we decided it was time for him to come see where we have explored! 

Vacation with the Bell Family!

 We met the Bell family (Levi's sister Ashli) in Phoenix and stayed at the Squaw Resort - it was perfect. 

We stayed in one of their apartment like suites which had two rooms upstairs and a kitchen/dining/living room downstairs. 

They ventured out and stayed over with a newborn!
