Book Club - The Tanglewood’s Secret

For book club we read Tanglewood's Secret by Patricia St John. We try and read one of her books every year. 

This one was so good, it is about two children that live with their harsh aunt. A dreadful accident happens and it leads to a great lesson including learning about the Shepherd. 

In the book they spend lots of time in the woods so a hiking trip at Clegg Memorial Garden was perfect - we even got in a hike before the weather got too hot. 

 

Young Men Camp

Nephi went to camp with a group of boys in Ohio. He had a great time, they did have to come back early due to the weather and getting all their things soaked. 

 

Puzzle Time

These two have been enjoying audio books and puzzles. I am trying to convince them (mostly Coraline) that she doesn't have to keep the ones she finishes forever.....maybe a picture could last longer?

Jeriko came to visit from Florida before he leaves for the military.

Busy times!

 Cecily got to go on a date with some other little loves for a birthday celebration.

 This poor lady has been on a journey this summer. She has been struggling with her heart clinching everyday and some days her hands going numb. We are still in the discovering process - we have ruled out many things but don't know the cause yet. 

 Clairana and Nephi went to a one day youth conference. This is the only photo I have but they seem to have a good time and it was from 8-9 outside so they were pretty beat when they got home.
